Our new offering has been simplified by using the color of the bright nail as the length. (E.g. GREEN (1) = 2 3/8” x 0.113, GREEN (4) = 2 3/8” x 0.148). The shank diameter is indicated by a number.
Hot Dip Galvanized nails have been added to the True SPEC line up. Our Hot Dipped Galvanized nails are not painted. They are embossed with an alpha character (to indicate length), and a number (indicating diameter), same as the bright nails.
TrueSpec Hot Dip Galvanized nails (Zincgard™) nail meet or exceed the ASTM-A-153 Class D specification for zinc coating (hot dip) and all bend yield requirements of the building code. The weight of coat on a ZincGard™ nail is significantly greater than a nail made from galvanized wire, and the process ensures the heads, shank and point are fully protected.
The Hot Dip Galvanized TrueSpec (with Zincgard™) nails are packaged in a 2000 count carton, except 3 ½” x 0.162 (1750 per box). This packaging allows the consumer to purchase nails in a quantity more specific to the job.
All TrueSpec nails are shipped in an “Easy Carry” re-closable carton (patented Tree Island design), clearly labelled (English/Spanish) and closed with a plastic strap (band) for easy handling.
